LBC, een Brits radioprogramma met discussie en actualiteiten, deed een item over genderneutraliteit. De presentator James O’Brien kreeg een beller in de uitzending die aangaf ‘bezorgd’ te zijn omdat er een warenhuis was dat niet meer het label ‘jongen’ of ‘meisje’ in de etiketten van hun kinderkleding wilden gebruiken. Het warenhuis doet dit omdat ze geen stereotypes over gender meer op willen dringen aan kleine kinderen.
