Een van mijn beroepen is "Informatie architect". Bij mij begint het ontwerpen van effectieve online toepassingen daarmee. In mijn optiek ligt User Experience Design ook dicht tegen informatie architectuur aan. Ik zie echter om me heen dat UX en UI steeds meer in één adem genoemd worden. Da's een kwestie van visie waar ik nu even op ga kauwen. Tot die tijd: leesvoer!

Het vrijhandelsverdrag TTIP moet er van de Nederlandse overheid hoe dan ook komen. Uit interne memo’s blijkt hoe toegewijd het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken aan het welslagen van die missie is. ‘Mislukking behoort daarbij niet tot de mogelijkheden.’
Wanneer spreekt een journalist de waarheid?
"Het gaat hier om het onderscheid tussen gezonde scepsis en doorgeslagen wantrouwen. Wie sceptisch is, blijft onderzoeken en stelt zijn oordeel uit. Wie gedreven wordt door wantrouwen, heeft zijn oordeel juist al klaar."

Het heeft er alle schijn van dat het kabinet angstvallig over het eigen gelijk waakt. Wat daar, aan het einde van de kokerblik, zo ontzagwekkend ligt te dampen, mag onder geen beding worden blootgesteld aan het scherpe licht van de kritiek. Zo breekbaar is kennelijk het gelijk. En dus zou het het kabinet sieren als het Van Zutphen terstond zou lozen en vervangen door een iconoclastische klootzak van ónze keuze. Al was het maar om de schijn van democratie hoog te houden.
